Directions & Parking
From the Big-I, where Interstate 4 and Interstate 25 cross, go north on I-25 about 7.8 miles to Tramway Rd, Exit 167, go east on Tramway Rd 4.9 miles. As you near the mountain, Tramway will curve south and stops at a 3 way stop, where Tramway Rd becomes Tramway Blvd. Turn left (east) at the Stop onto Tramway Rd (yes its the same name) and go about .75 mile to the Grounds Admissions stop. There's a $1 Grounds Admission Fee per car. A quarter mile past that you'll arrive at Sandiagos Mexican Grill and the Base of Sandia Peak Tramway.
As you curve right and approach the Base of the Tram & Sandiagos is located, stay to the left and park on the Mountainside of the building. This way you'll avoid the long climb up the steps which can be a bit difficult at 6,000 feet
